Coachella Summer Music Festival 2009

What's better than a debauched weekend spent dodging thermometer-busting temperatures and rocking out? This yearly festival in Cali's Coachella Valley is always hot enough to scramble your brain, and was made that much hotter, this year, by performances from (among too many others to count) Prince, Jack Johnson, Vampire Weekend, Rilo Kiley, Hot Chip, Death Cab for Cutie, The Raconteurs (oh, that Jack White) and our newest fave, Santogold.

How then, to cool down? Happily, Rocket Dog came to the rescue by helping the hottie hordes step out of their rocker boots and hi-tops and slide on into some RD flip-flops for some poolside R&R.

Of course, we brought the poolside too - co-sponsoring a party with BPM featuring Steve Aoki and Joel Madden on the decks and even a Smurf-themed "mushroom garden." Oh, and spectacular RD shoes and other goodies, of course. The Rocket Dog Squad took about a bazillion pics, gave away a bunch of stylin' merch and made tons of new friends.
