Rocket Dog presented Melanie Segal’s Teen Choice Awards Lounge on Thursday and Friday, helping to raise awareness for the escalating crisis faced by animal shelters.  Tails of the City Animal Rescue brought dozens of pets to the event, pairing them with celebrities in photos with the hope it will encourage more adoptions.Celebrities such as Jordana Brewster, Jason Biggs, Eric Roberts and Eliza Simons, The Office’s Jenna Fischer, Angela Kinsey & Leslie David Baker, 90210’s Michael Steger, Shannon Elizabeth & Derek Hough, True Blood’s Nelsan Ellis, Danielle Fishel, Debbie Ryan, Romeo, High School Musical’s KayCee Stroh, The Bachelorette’s Juan, Jesse and Robbie, and many others came out to support and raise awareness for Tails of the City Animal Rescue.

In presenting the event Rocket Dog offered celebrities in attendance their own pair of Rocket Dog shoes. Rocket Dog shoes are made with fashion forward teens who surf a wave as readily as they do the Web.
