What’s New
What’s new in the Rocket Dog fall/winter new arrivals collection?
Lots! Fan-favorite Cheery and Jazzin come in new prints, Ardne and Able mules keep feet cozy, and boot season is here with Fillie, Jimmy, Drake, Prima, Noelani, Ramble, Ryder, Nixie and Niche. Three new silhouettes steal the show: Kismeet, Miette and Melanie. Everything is available now.
What are Cheery and Jazzin, and what are the new patterns?
Cheery and Jazzin are all-time Rocket Dog favorites, and they’re back in six new patterns: dahlia print, lace, camouflage, leopard, zebra and cow.
What do the new prints look like?
Dahlia is a floral print, lace is a soft, delicate lace look, and camouflage is a classic army-style pattern. Leopard, zebra and cow are bold animal prints for a playful statement. All prints are faux, with no real animal materials used.
What is the Kismeet?
Kismeet is our newest silhouette: a very simple ballet flat with a hint of Mary Jane. It’s casual, easy to wear and goes with just about everything.
What is the Miette?
Miette is a Mary Jane–style sneaker. It has a wide buckled strap and a rubber sole made for all-surface wear, so it works on city sidewalks, trails and everything in between.
What is the Melanie?
Melanie is a simple slip-on sneaker finished with a little bow ornament. Easy on, easy off, and a little bit cute.
What are the Ardne and Able mules?
Ardne and Able are cozy mules, perfect for the fall-to-winter transition. They’re nicknamed “potato shoes” and can be worn indoors or outdoors.
Boots and Cozy Styles
Which boots are in the new arrivals collection?
For the shift into boot season: Fillie (tall boot), Jimmy (wedge), Drake (Chelsea), Prima (combat boot) and Noelani (ankle bootie). For winter coziness: Ramble, which is shearling lined, plus the lined boots Ryder, Nixie and Niche.
Which boots are lined for warmth?
Ramble is lined with faux shearling. Ryder, Nixie and Niche are lined boots too, for extra coziness on colder days.
How warm is the faux shearling lining?
Rocket Dog doesn’t give a temperature rating for the lining. As a general guide, faux shearling is a cozy, light-to-moderate warmth layer that suits cool-to-cold days, roughly the 30s to 50s °F. It isn’t built for extreme cold, and the boots are not waterproof or water-resistant.
What should I wear now versus when it gets colder?
For milder fall days, try Kismeet, Miette, Melanie or the Cheery and Jazzin prints. For in-between weather, Ardne and Able mules or boots like Drake, Prima, Jimmy, Noelani and Fillie are great. When it gets chilly, reach for the lined boots: Ramble, Ryder, Nixie and Niche.
Fit and Comfort
What is Plush Foam?
Plush Foam is Rocket Dog’s 3-layer cushioning system for all-day comfort. It’s in all of the new sneakers and in most styles across the collection, including some boots. Details vary by style, so check the product page.
What sizes are available, and how do they fit?
Sizes run 6 to 11. Cheery and Jazzin fit the same as the other new arrivals, with no difference between them. Each style can fit a little differently, so check the sizing notes on the product page.
Do the Fillie tall boots fit different calf widths?
Fillie has a normal calf width and a zipper, which makes it easy to get on and off.
Do the Kismeet’s double elastic straps hold the shoe on?
No, they’re decorative. The two elastic straps are small and barely there, so they add the Mary Jane look without changing the fit.
Which styles are best for all-day wear on different surfaces?
Miette is made for all-surface wear thanks to its rubber sole, and Plush Foam cushioning is in the sneakers and most other styles. Ardne and Able mules are also fine for indoor and outdoor wear.
Materials and Care
What are the shoes made of?
Rocket Dog new arrivals are made with faux leather, faux suede and faux shearling. No real animal materials are used.
Are Rocket Dog shoes vegan?
No real animal materials are used in these shoes, but Rocket Dog doesn’t label them as vegan.
How do I clean faux leather shoes?
Wipe off loose dirt with a soft brush or dry cloth. Then wipe with a damp microfiber cloth and a tiny drop of mild dish soap in warm water. Wipe again with a clean damp cloth to remove the soap, and air dry away from heat. Test a hidden spot first, and skip alcohol, acetone, ammonia, bleach and real-leather cleaners.
How do I clean faux suede shoes?
Keep it dry and gentle. Brush in one direction with a soft brush or suede brush. Rub scuffs lightly with a suede eraser or clean white eraser. For a stain, blot with a barely damp cloth and a touch of mild soap (don’t soak or scrub), then let it air dry and brush again to bring back the soft texture. For grease, sprinkle on baking soda, wait a few hours, then brush it off.
How do I clean faux shearling lining?
Spot clean only. Brush off loose dirt with a soft brush, dab stains with a barely damp cloth and a little mild soap, and don’t soak the lining. Blot with a clean damp cloth, air dry away from heat or direct sun, then fluff with a soft brush. Baking soda sprinkled inside and shaken out the next day can freshen it up.
Can I put Rocket Dog shoes in the washing machine?
We don’t recommend machine washing. Spot clean by hand and air dry instead.
Are the shoes waterproof?
No. None of the new arrivals are water-resistant or waterproof, so save them for dry days and avoid puddles and heavy rain.
Price, Availability and Returns
How much do the new arrivals cost, and are they available now?
Prices range from $50 to $90, and the whole collection is available now.
What is the return and exchange policy?
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days. A return label is free with Checkout+ (a $2.98 add-on at checkout); without it, the label costs $8.95.
